Mexican Fiesta Biscuit Bread
A flavorful Mexican-inspired biscuit bread featuring salsa, cheese, and vegetables, baked until golden. Perfect for sharing at casual gatherings or family dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter ⓘ
- 1 (17.3 oz.) can Pillsbury Grands buttermilk biscuits ⓘ
- 1 (10.8 oz.) can Pillsbury Grands buttermilk biscuits
- 1 (16 oz.) jar medium spiced thick and chunky salsa ⓘ
- 3 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 c. chopped green bell pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions ⓘ
- 1 (2 1/4 oz.) can sliced ripe olives, drained
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Melt margarine in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan in the oven.
- Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits.
- Cut each biscuit into eighths.
- Place biscuit pieces in a large bowl and toss with salsa.
- Spoon the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded Monterey Jack cheese, chopped green bell pepper, chopped green onions, and sliced ripe olives over the top.
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
- Cut into squares and serve with the remaining 1 cup of salsa.
