Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 2 cans Ro-Tel tomatoes with green chili peppers
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of garlic
  • 1 roll jalapeno cheese
  • 1 roll garlic cheese
  • 1/2 lb Velveeta

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground chuck in a skillet.
  2. Add chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, and salt; cook until vegetables are tender and mixture is drained of excess liquid.
  3. Add the Ro-Tel tomatoes with green chili peppers, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and a dash of garlic to the meat mixture.
  4. Cook until heated through and flavors meld.
  5. Add the jalapeno cheese, garlic cheese, and Velveeta; stir until all cheeses are melted and mixture is smooth.
  6. Let the cheese mixture cool slightly.
  7. Fill hoagie buns or hot dog buns with the cheese and meat mixture.
  8. Wrap the filled buns in foil and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 40 to 45 minutes.
