Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 pt. canned tomatoes
  • 2 c. cooked macaroni
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • chili powder to taste
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage until almost done.
  2. Add chopped onion and green pepper.
  3. Cook until tender.
  4. Add canned tomatoes, milk, and cooked macaroni.
  5. Mix these ingredients, then add sour cream along with salt, pepper, and chili powder.
  6. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 350°F until it bubbles well.
  7. Top with grated cheese and buttered bread crumbs.
  8. Melt the cheese before serving.
