Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz.) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 5 English muffins, split
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning mix and water to the beef.
  3. Simmer for 15 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
  4. Place split English muffins on a baking sheet.
  5. Top each muffin with the meat mixture.
  6. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the meat.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
