A flavorful Mexican-inspired dish featuring seasoned ground beef served over crunchy Fritos, topped with fresh vegetables and cheese for a satisfying snack or meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 package Fritos
  • 1 package Sloppy Joes mix or taco mix
  • hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the Sloppy Joes or taco mix, tomato paste, and water to the beef.
  3. Cook until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.
  4. Serve the beef mixture over Fritos.
  5. Garnish with diced tomatoes, chopped onions, shredded Cheddar cheese, and shredded lettuce.
  6. Optional: add hot sauce to taste.
