- Layer the sausage and thinly sliced onion in a large ovenproof roasting pan.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the sausage and onions.
- Pour the chutney and chili sauce over the ingredients.
- Cover the pan with a lid or foil and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
- Uncover the pan and pour the red wine over the mixture.
- Bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.
