Ingredients

  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon savory
  • 2 teaspoons instant bouillon
  • 2 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Heat oil, margarine, minced onion, and garlic in the microwave on High for 2 minutes, stirring once.
  2. Add all other ingredients to the mixture.
  3. Cook on High for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir the mixture.
  5. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and cook for 10 more minutes until the liquid is absorbed.
  6. Fluff with a fork and serve.
