Microwave Baked Maple Bananas

Sweet and buttery microwave-baked bananas glazed with maple syrup and lemon juice, perfect for a quick dessert or breakfast treat for any banana lover.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 4 bananas, peeled, cut in half and sliced lengthwise
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized microwaveproof baking dish, cook butter on High for 30 seconds or until melted.
  2. Stir in maple syrup.
  3. Place bananas in the dish and coat well with the butter mixture using a spoon.
  4. Cook on High for 1 minute.
  5. Turn the bananas over.
  6. Cook on High for an additional 1 1/2 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with lemon juice and serve warm.
