Microwave Candied Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 2 c. pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Place butter in a 1-quart round bowl.
  2. Microwave on High for 30 to 45 seconds or until melted.
  3. Stir in sugar, cinnamon and cloves.
  4. Microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
  5. Stir in nuts until well coated; microwave on High for 4 to 5 minutes.
  6. Spread out on foil to cool.
