Ingredients

  • 10 oz. frozen green beans
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Microwave frozen green beans and water in a 2-quart casserole dish for 15 minutes, or until tender, stirring once during cooking. Drain.
  2. Place cream cheese, salt, and garlic salt in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for approximately 1 minute or until cheese is very soft.
  3. Gradually add the milk to the cream cheese and stir until smooth.
  4. Microwave the mixture for another 1 to 2 minutes, stirring once while cooking.
  5. Blend the sauce until thoroughly mixed and pour over the green beans.
  6. Stir lightly and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
