Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. fat
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. pan juices
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Put fat and flour into a 4-cup glass measuring cup.
  2. Stir until smooth.
  3. Microwave on High power 5 to 7 minutes, stirring twice, until mixture turns golden and loses its raw flour taste.
  4. Stir in pan juices.
  5. Microwave on High, stirring twice, until gravy bubbles fast and thickens, 4 to 6 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  7. Add salt and pepper as desired.
  8. Adjust consistency with more stock or broth if needed.
