Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. grated cheese
  • 1 lb. sausage, browned and drained
  • 1 diced onion
  • 8 beaten eggs
  • 1 lb. sliced mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Butter a 2-quart casserole dish.
  2. Line the casserole with grated cheese.
  3. Add the browned and drained sausage on top of the cheese.
  4. Layer diced onion over the sausage.
  5. Add sliced mushrooms on top of the onion.
  6. Pour the beaten eggs evenly over the layered ingredients.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35 to 40 minutes until set and golden.
