Ingredients

  • 2 cans baby clams
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 can water
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Drain the canned clams and add 1/2 cup water, chopped onion, and chopped potatoes to a small saucepan. Cook until the potatoes are slightly tender.
  2. Alternatively, pre-cook the onion and salt pork before adding to the liquid.
  3. Add the clams and cook gently, ensuring not to boil. Then, add evaporated milk and one can of water.
  4. Stir in butter and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
