Ingredients

  • 1 cup millet (uncooked)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 14 ounces Italian tomatoes (undrained)
  • 1 can tomato soup (undiluted)
  • 2.25 ounces sliced olives
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon sage

Instructions

  1. Brown millet and chopped onion in olive oil, or skip this step and add directly to the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Add water to the tomatoes and tomato soup to make a total of 4 cups.
  3. Mix all ingredients and place in a 2-quart casserole dish.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  5. Optional: Top with shredded Cheddar cheese before serving.
