Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mint jelly
  • 1 tablespoon dry white wine or orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 lamb rib or loin chops (2 1/2 lb.)

Instructions

  1. For the glaze, in a small saucepan, combine mint jelly, white wine or orange juice, orange peel, and pepper.
  2. Heat the mixture until smooth.
  3. Trim fat from the lamb chops.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  5. Place lamb chops on the grill rack over the heat.
  6. Cover and grill for 10 to 16 minutes, turning once halfway through.
  7. Brush the lamb chops frequently with the glaze during grilling.
