Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 1/2 chocolate squares
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  2. Melt the chocolate squares until smooth and let cool slightly.
  3. Add the melted chocolate to the butter mixture and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until frothy.
  5. Gradually add the eggs to the chocolate mixture, beating vigorously after each addition.
  6. Stir in the peppermint extract and vanilla extract.
  7. Fold in the chopped pecans gently.
  8. Pour the mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate until set.
