Mixed Bean Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground sausage
  • 1 lb. can baked beans (B&M or S&W)
  • 1 lb. can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 lb. can lima beans, drained
  • 2 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 small onions, sliced
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. chili powder

Instructions

  1. Brown sausage lightly.
  2. Drain fat.
  3. Mix all together and place in 2 1/2-quart casserole.
  4. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or put all in your crock-pot and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.
