Ingredients

  • 10 oz. frozen lima beans
  • 1 lb. can red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 lb. can pork and beans
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 3/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • dash Tabasco

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook lima beans without salt in 1 cup boiling water for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain lima beans.
  4. Combine lima beans, drained red kidney beans, pork and beans, onion soup mix, chili sauce, molasses, dry mustard, and Tabasco in a greased 2 1/2-quart deep casserole dish.
  5. Add about 3/4 of the frankfurters into the mixture.
  6. Line the edge of the casserole with the remaining frankfurters.
  7. Bake for about 50 minutes or until hot.
