Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/3 cup coffee-flavored brandy or Kahlua
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat milk and gelatin to boiling point, stirring to dissolve gelatin.
  2. Pour the mixture into a blender, excluding the heavy cream.
  3. Process until smooth.
  4. Add heavy cream to the blender; process at a low speed until well blended.
  5. Pour the mousse into a 1 1/2-quart mold.
  6. Chill until firm.
  7. Serve with coffee-flavored or regular whipped cream.
