Instructions

  1. Pour water over bread crumbs and let stand while preparing other ingredients.
  2. Saute chopped onion and celery in corn oil until tender.
  3. Mix ground mock chicken meat, beaten egg, sautéed onion and celery, milk, accent, salt, and bread crumbs.
  4. Transfer mixture into a loaf pan and bake at 350°F for 1 hour, until the center is firm.
  5. Reheat leftovers the next day if desired.
