Ingredients

  • 2 c. molasses
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of baking soda
  • 3 c. black walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the molasses and sugar together until when dropped in water, the mixture forms a ball.
  2. Stir in a pinch of baking soda.
  3. Add chopped black walnuts.
  4. Pour into a greased cookie sheet and let cool.
  5. Break into pieces when cooled.
