Ingredients

  • 1 c. dates
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c nuts
  • 1 c sugar
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and grease a baking pan.
  2. Blend together the dates, flour, baking powder, vanilla, nuts, and sugar until well combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in the greased pan.
  4. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.
  6. Toss the cooled bars in powdered sugar before serving.
