- Place the steak in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Top the steak with sliced green pepper, dry onion soup mix, and cut tomatoes (not the juice).
- In a separate bowl, mix the tomato juice with A.1. sauce and cornstarch until well blended.
- Pour the tomato mixture over the steak and toppings.
- Cover the pan and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake in a 325°F (163°C) oven for 2 1/2 hours.
