Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. round steak
  • 1/2 sliced green pepper
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 large can tomatoes, cut into pieces
  • A.1. sauce

Instructions

  1. Place the steak in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Top the steak with sliced green pepper, dry onion soup mix, and cut tomatoes (not the juice).
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the tomato juice with A.1. sauce and cornstarch until well blended.
  4. Pour the tomato mixture over the steak and toppings.
  5. Cover the pan and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Bake in a 325°F (163°C) oven for 2 1/2 hours.
