A sweet, sticky, and buttery monkey bread with cinnamon sugar coating, perfect for sharing at gatherings or breakfast, with rich caramelized flavors and soft, pull-apart texture.

Ingredients

  • 3 (10 oz.) cans Hungry Jack buttermilk biscuits
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut each biscuit into 4 quarters and form into balls.
  3. Mix cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl.
  4. Roll biscuit balls in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Grease a tube or Bundt pan generously with margarine.
  6. Place the coated biscuit balls into the prepared pan, layering as needed.
  7. Add nuts on top if desired.
  8. In a saucepan, melt 1 stick of margarine and brown sugar together, bringing to a boil for 1 minute.
  9. Pour the brown sugar and margarine mixture evenly over the biscuit balls in the pan.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes.
  11. Let stand for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate to serve.
