Mount Diablo Dip is a creamy, flavorful appetizer featuring ripe avocados, seasoned sour cream, fresh vegetables, and melted cheese, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 ripe avocados
  • 1 pkg. taco mix seasoning
  • 1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 bunch scallions, chopped
  • 8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • 1 can pitted black olives, drained and sliced
  • 1 large bag tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Mash avocados and place on a large platter.
  2. Mix taco seasoning with sour cream and spread on the avocados.
  3. Layer chopped green pepper, chopped tomatoes, chopped scallions, and sliced black olives over the sour cream layer.
  4. Sprinkle grated Monterey Jack cheese on top.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
