Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin
  • 3 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons allspice
  • 2/3 cup water

Instructions

  1. Blend together sugar, eggs, oil, and pumpkin.
  2. Add dry ingredients that have been sifted together.
  3. Stir water into the mixture.
  4. Grease and flour bread pans.
  5. Pour mixture into pans and bake at 350°F for 1 1/4 hours.
