Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut
  • 7 ounces marshmallow cream

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine, sugar, and cocoa together.
  2. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour until well combined.
  4. Fold in chopped nuts and coconut.
  5. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes in a 350°F oven.
  7. Spread marshmallow cream on top of the cake and return to oven.
  8. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Cool the cake completely before frosting with chocolate frosting.
