Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Cook butter and onions slowly until tender. Add mushrooms. Cook and stir for 5 minutes. Add seasonings and flour. Blend and add milk. Stir until thickened. Add eggs. Pour into buttered ring mold. Bake at 350° until firm (30 minutes). Good with roasts, steaks, etc.
