Ingredients

  • 1 can Snows clam chowder
  • 2 cans Snows minced clams
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 2 tablespoons margarine

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon until crispy and set aside. In the same pan, brown the onion in the bacon drippings.
  2. Drain off the bacon grease after browning the onion.
  3. Combine the bacon, onion, clam chowder, minced clams, milk, and margarine in a pot.
  4. Heat the mixture until hot but not boiling.
  5. Cool the chowder, then refrigerate. Reheat before serving.
  6. Let the chowder stand for a while after reheating for better flavor.
