A hearty meatloaf with savory flavors from garlic, onions, and bell peppers, topped with ketchup, perfect for family dinners and comfort food lovers.

Ingredients

  • 3 to 5 lb hamburger meat
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic salt
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped finely
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes, reserve liquid
  • Several crackers

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients and put in loaf pan.
  2. Punch holes in top and put ketchup on top with liquid from tomatoes.
  3. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
  4. Remove foil and pour off liquid.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes until done.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes and serve.
