My Lasagne
Ingredients
- 1 (No. 2 1/2) can Italian tomatoes ⓘ
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste (rinse paste cans each 2 times with water) ⓘ
- 1 1/2 tsp. oregano ⓘ
- 1 tsp. onion salt ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- pepper to taste ⓘ
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped ⓘ
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 lb. hamburger ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- pepper to taste ⓘ
- 1 lb. lasagne, cooked and drained ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine first 7 ingredients in saucepan.
- Brown onion and garlic in the oil.
- Add the hamburger and the salt and pepper; brown and add to sauce.
- Simmer 2 1/2 hours.
- Layer in long pan: 1/3 sauce, 1/2 lasagne, 1/2 Ricotta, 1/2 Mozzarella and 1/3 Parmesan.
- Repeat with sauce and Parmesan on top.
- Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Let set 15 minutes.
