Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup dark Karo syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • pie crust

Instructions

  1. Set aside 1/2 cup chopped pecans for topping.
  2. Combine all ingredients except the reserved pecans and pour the mixture into an unbaked pie shell.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining pecans on top of the filling.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 35 to 40 minutes, until set and golden.
