Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 (8 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup hot Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup shredded Colby or Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet, brown the lean ground beef.
  2. Stir in the undrained kidney beans, tomato paste, water, hot Tabasco sauce, and salt.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese until melted.
  5. Serve hot as a dip.
