Ingredients

  • 1 cup salt
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • Chopped cabbage
  • 1 gallon water

Instructions

  1. Chop cabbage and put it in a jar.
  2. Heat the salt, vinegar, and water until the salt is well dissolved.
  3. Pour the heated mixture over the chopped cabbage in the jar.
  4. Seal the jar and let it ferment for 4 to 6 weeks before eating.
