Ingredients

  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • dash of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Combine milk and beaten eggs in a bowl.
  2. Add cooked rice, raisins, sugar, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  4. Place the casserole dish in a pan of water to create a water bath.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until set.
