Ingredients

  • 1 cup large macaroni
  • 3 onions, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 can ripe olives, sliced
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cans tomato paste
  • 1 pound ground meat
  • grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni, rinse and drain.
  2. Brown ground meat with sliced peppers, sliced onions, and sliced mushrooms; add sliced olives after cooking.
  3. Drain excess fat. Combine the cooked macaroni with the meat and vegetable mixture, tomato paste, water, and grated cheese.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bake covered at 300°F for 2 hours.
  6. Uncover during the last half hour of baking.
