Ingredients

  • 3 3/4 cups cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups pecans, floured
  • 1 1/2 cups raisins, floured
  • 1 cup orange juice

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, eggs, and brown sugar together.
  2. Add flour, baking powder, and nutmeg to the creamed mixture.
  3. Gradually add orange juice, floured raisins, and floured pecans, mixing until well blended.
  4. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
  5. Bake at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 hours.
