Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups cheerios
  • 3 cups rice krispies
  • 1 cup peanuts

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine sugar, light corn syrup, vanilla extract, cheerios, and rice krispies; set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, bring the corn syrup and sugar to a boil, stirring frequently.
  3. Remove from the heat; stir in peanuts and vanilla.
  4. Pour over cereal mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Spread into a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.
  6. Cool, then cut into 3 x 3-inch bars.
