No Cook Icing

Ingredients

  • 2 unbeaten egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. boiling water

Instructions

  1. Combine egg whites, cream of tartar, and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add vanilla and mix well.
  3. Add boiling water and beat until stiff peaks form, approximately 10 minutes, using an electric mixer or by hand.
  4. Use to ice a large cake.
