Ingredients

  • 3 sticks butter
  • 6 or 8 eggs
  • 8 oz. whipped cream
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups Swans Down cake flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla flavor

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  3. Alternately fold in flour and whipped cream, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Mix until batter is smooth and well combined.
  5. Pour batter into a prepared pan.
  6. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
