Ingredients

  • 4 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 lb. dates, chopped
  • 2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 c. candied cherries
  • 4 slices candied pineapple
  • 1/2 lb. coconut

Instructions

  1. Line a 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan with brown paper, then wax paper. Set can of condensed milk in hot water.
  2. Mix chopped dates, pecans, candied cherries, candied pineapple slices, and coconut in a bowl.
  3. Add the can of sweetened condensed milk to the mixture and combine lightly.
  4. Fill the prepared pan with the mixture.
  5. Bake at 325°F until the top is browned, about 1 hour.
