Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 to 3 pounds broiler-fryer chicken, cut up

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F. Remove the skin from the chicken pieces.
  2. Place the chicken in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of celery soup, cream of chicken soup, rice, and water. Mix well.
  4. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken in the pan.
  5. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours without peeking until done.
