Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 6 oz. or more fine no-yolk noodles
  • lo-cal white cheese
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Saute ground turkey in a skillet until browned.
  2. Add water to the skillet to keep the turkey moist.
  3. Stir in the can of tomatoes, saving a small amount for topping.
  4. Add the noodles over the tomato mixture, then pour the remaining tomatoes on top without stirring.
  5. Cover the skillet and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes until noodles are soft, ensuring it does not dry out.
  6. Add additional water if needed during cooking.
  7. Place slices of white cheese over the cooked noodles.
  8. Cover again until the cheese melts.
  9. Serve directly from the skillet.
