Ingredients

  • 1 lb. stew meat or ground beef
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. cooked egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown the stew meat or ground beef in a skillet and cook the onion until tender; pour off excess fat.
  2. Add the condensed cream of mushroom, sour cream, water, paprika (if using), and salt to the meat and onion mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and stir in the cooked egg noodles.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
