Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. cream
  • 1 1/2 c. flour, sifted

Instructions

  1. Blend eggs, cream, and salt together.
  2. Gradually add sifted flour and work it into the mixture until the dough is stiff.
  3. Divide the dough into 4 parts and roll each very thin on a lightly floured board.
  4. Let the rolled sheets stand in air on a cloth to dry.
  5. Turn the sheets every 15 minutes until the edges start to crack slightly.
  6. Stack the 4 sheets on top of each other.
  7. Roll the stacked sheets tightly in jelly roll fashion.
  8. Slice the roll into thick or thin strips as desired.
  9. Cut the strips down the middle after slicing.
  10. Boil in salted, oiled water until tender, about 10 minutes.
