Noodles Ole is a hearty casserole combining seasoned ground beef, corn, tomato flavors, and melted cheese, perfect for comforting family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground round
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 lb can corn
  • 1 can cream of tomato soup
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 8 oz noodles
  • grated sharp cheese
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. While noodles cook, brown the ground round and chopped onion in a skillet.
  3. Drain the grease from the meat and add the canned corn, cream of tomato soup, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer the meat mixture for a few minutes to combine flavors.
  5. In a large casserole dish, layer the cooked noodles and meat mixture alternately.
  6. Top with grated sharp cheese.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
