Ingredients

  • 2 cups corn meal
  • 2 cups white flour
  • 2 tablespoons lard

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and add enough cold water to hold the mixture together like a pie crust.
  2. Roll out very thin with a grooved rolling pin.
  3. Bake slowly on an ungreased griddle or in a moderate oven at 325° to 350°F.
  4. Watch closely as it bakes.
  5. When it begins to get a light golden color, turn and bake on the other side.
  6. Let dry out completely before putting into a container.
  7. Keep in a dry place.
