Nugget Cream Spinach

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 3 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 lb. frozen spinach (uncooked)

Instructions

  1. Saute onion, garlic, bacon, salt and pepper in butter.
  2. Add flour and cook until smooth roux; slowly add milk and cook until thick.
  3. Chop frozen spinach very fine.
  4. Squeeze all water out. Add spinach to sauce; bring to a slow boil and cook 5 minutes.
