Ingredients

  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small pkg. cake yeast
  • 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. lukewarm milk

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk and set aside.
  2. Sift flour, sugar, and salt together.
  3. Add butter or margarine to the flour mixture and crumble as for pie dough.
  4. Add the dissolved yeast and eggs. Knead lightly, adding small amounts of flour if needed.
  5. Cover and store in refrigerator overnight.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
