Ingredients

  • 2 qt. popped popcorn
  • 1 c. salted peanuts
  • 1 c. sunflower kernels
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 3/4 c. raisins
  • 3/4 c. snipped dried apricots

Instructions

  1. In a 12-inch square microwave-safe baking dish, combine popcorn, salted peanuts, and sunflower kernels; mix well.
  2. In a saucepan, melt margarine with honey and sugar over medium heat until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in ground cinnamon.
  4. Pour the honey mixture over the popcorn and nut mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
  5. Add raisins and dried apricots, mixing gently to distribute evenly.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool completely before breaking into clusters.
